My passion for walking first came about when my Grandfather used to take me with him on his walks.......then naturally I caught the bug. He used to work at our local Ford Garage and was able to obtain a courtesy car at the weekend (as he didn't have his own car at that time), we would then explore the Lake District; and from that moment I fell in love with the Lake District and Walking.   I get out walking as much as I can unless I am needed for family responsibilities.
