This page contains all of the walks I have done with the Barrow Ramblers Club. These walks take place on Sundays. We are driven by coach to our destination in the morning (either 8.30am or 9.00am) and then meet the coach again in the later evening (about 5.00pm). The Ramblers have 3 groups of difficulty, namely, “A”, “B” or “C”.

Group “A” is quite a fast pace with virtually no stops, they visit the summits of the fells and also incorporate the occasional scramble and visit more summits during the day than the “B” group–it’s advised to be quite fit before joining this group.

Group “B” visit the summits at a more leisurely pace with a few stops.

Group “C” tackle the lower summits just over 1000 feet of ascent and mainly walk on a more easy terrain.

Below you will find a table of the walks I have done with the Ramblers with pictures and other various details.
